Hey, do you love the look of Country and Shabby Chic as much as I do?  The look can take your home from blah and ordinary to Fabulously deserving of oohs and ahh's.

I love taking beautiful pieces of decor or furniture and turning them into works of art.  Especially do the vintage ones turn out awesome, with their ornate, flamboyant, often highly wrought architecture.

First I choose just the right color of chalk paint, picturing how it would blend into my own home, a western ranch house, or perhaps a Southern mansion.  After painting it with 2-3 layers, I then either distress it by sanding, or antique it.  A lot of thought, passion and love goes into each piece.

I have three different shops where I sell my creations on Etsy.

THE FIRST was Cool Creek Designs, a jewelry line inspired out of a love of Boho and Country chic style.  I opened this shop in 2011.  Below is a preview of the items I have created for that shop, including some from my Country Boho Collection.  [Click on any of the images for a better description.]

THE SECOND shop was Country Chic Shoppe.  After I fell so in love with the look of Country Shabby Chic and Cottage Chic decor for the home, I just couldn't stop searching for pieces of old wooden decor to upcycle and repurpose.  Here's a sampling of some of the items available in that Etsy shop.  [Click on any of the images for a better description.]

THE THIRD shop, KnobSnobbery, just launched and morphed out of the other two shops. It gave me a place to highlight just my custom knobs and jewelry hangers. These also work great as gifts. As time goes on, I'll add more and more types of organizers to the shop.
